Pipe Lining in Scottsdale, AZ

Dealing with leaky underground drainage pipes can be a total pain. It’s not just expensive, but it can also mess up your yard and any structures you have in the area. But don’t worry, because if you call Zest Plumbing, we’ve got you covered with plenty of pipe lining expertise. This modern, high-tech solution can actually save you a ton of money compared to traditional excavation methods.

What Is Pipe Lining?

Pipe lining, also known as trenchless sewer repair, is a method of repairing damaged or deteriorated underground pipes without the need for excavation. This technique involves inserting a liner or resin-coated flexible tube into the damaged pipe, which then hardens and creates a new pipe inside the existing one.

The process typically starts with a video inspection to locate the damage, assess its severity, and determine if the pipe is suitable for lining. If it is, the damaged pipe is cleaned and cleared of any debris to prepare for the liner installation.

Next, a liner made of a flexible material, such as fiberglass or polyester, is impregnated with an epoxy resin and inserted into the damaged pipe through an access point. Once inside the pipe, the liner is inflated and pressed against the walls of the damaged pipe to create a tight seal.

After the liner is in place, it is cured using steam or hot water, which causes the resin to harden and bond to the existing pipe. Once the liner is cured, the inflation bladder is removed, leaving a new pipe within the existing one.

Four Reasons to Consider Pipe Lining

  1. Pipe lining is cost-effective. Unlike traditional methods of repairing pipes, which often involve extensive excavation and disruption to your property, pipe lining requires minimal excavation and can be completed quickly and efficiently. You’ll save time and money on repairs without sacrificing quality or durability.
  2. Pipe lining is long-lasting. The liner we use is made of durable materials that can withstand the test of time, so your plumbing system will function smoothly for years to come. Plus, since the liner is installed inside the existing pipe, it acts as a barrier against further damage, protecting your plumbing system from future problems.
  3. Pipe lining causes minimal disruption. If you’re dealing with a plumbing problem, the last thing you want is to have your property torn up and disrupted for days or even weeks. Because the process requires minimal excavation, we can complete the repairs quickly and with minimal disturbance to your landscaping, hardscaping or other structures.
  4. Pipe lining is environmentally friendly. At Zest Plumbing, we’re committed to doing our part to protect the environment. Unlike traditional methods of repairing pipes, which often involve the use of heavy equipment and excavation, pipe lining is a non-invasive process that reduces the amount of waste and disruption to the environment.
